It is in or by grace that we have our acceptance

For the word of God is instinct with life; it is effective; it is sharper than a two-edged sword; it pierces right through to the very division of soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it scrutinizes the desires and intentions of the heart (Barclay)

The call of God is not a reflection of my nature; my personal desires and temperament are of no consideration. As long as I dwell on my own qualities and traits and think about what I am suited for, I will never hear the call of God.

by the "strength" of Christ is meant, not his strength as the mighty God...

The Lord always hears and answers his people sooner or later, in one form or another, though not always in the way and manner they desire; but yet in such a way as is most for his glory and their good: the apostle had not his request granted, that Satan might immediately depart from him, only he is assured of a sufficiency of grace to support him under the exercise, so long as it should last.

because he concludes his deliverance to be as good as wrought...

In prayer faith is encouraged, through believing the heart is filled with joy; and this joy is expressed by the lips, in songs of praise to the Lord, ascribing the glory of salvation to him, and giving him thanks for every mercy and blessing of life; ...

To discourage and hopefully banish that disposition !

GOD is AWARE,  ABLE & AVAILABLE -  there is only one place you can find the healing you seek. The wounds of suffering, grief and death can reach deep into the soul. And it may seem like a
tremendous burden, at the moment. But if you have a Biblical understanding of the everlasting God, you can find the healing you seek.
