… As you rejoice in the fact that healing is available in the name of God and that His desire to heal is reflected in His very nature, you can live life as a recipient of God’s covenant of healing. [God’s Healing Words]

Happy New Year 2012

2011 Christmas

Get up early and go to the lake and watch God make a morning; the dull gray will give way as God pushes the sun toward the horizon, and there will the tints and hues of every shade, that will blend into one perfect light as the full-orbed sun bursts in view…In thy holy hush of the early dawnI hear a Voice – I am with you all the day,Rejoice! Rejoice!What should we poor humans do without our God’s nights and mornings?

How constantly the Word of God compares man to grass, and His glory to the flower. But when the grass is mown, and all the tender shoots are bleeding, and desolation reigns where flowers were bursting… - Do not dread the scythe; it is sure to be followed by the shower.

The promises of God are strong reasons for us to follow after holiness; we must cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of flesh and spirit. If we hope in God as our Father, we must seek to be holy as he is holy, and perfect as our Father in heaven. His grace, by the influences of his Spirit, alone can purify, but holiness should be the object of our constant prayers.

In the light of God’s Word, we see our sin, but we also see God’s love in Christ. “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:9). By His grace . . . staying clean.

And all things “work” – they are working; not all things have worked, and shall work; and then all things “work together”; Many different colors – in themselves raw and unsightly, and required in order to weave the harmonious pattern. (ref ; Ps. 145:17 - [Streams in the Desert])

The ability of God is beyond our prayers, beyond our largest prayers! My best asking falls immeasurably short of my Father’s giving: it is beyond what we can ask.

God knows our strength, and He measures it to the last inch; and a trial was never given to any man that was greater than that man’s strength, through God, to bear it.

There is no way of learning faith except by trial. It is God’s school of faith, and it is far better for us to learn to learn to trust God that to enjoy life.

In times of uncertainty, wait. Always, if you have any doubt, wait. Do not force yourself to any action. If you have a restraint in your spirit, wait until all is clear, and do not go against it. Stand still and patiently awaiting the voice of God.

Sometimes we find ourselves in what feels like a hopeless valley without the strength to go on. When this happens, it’s important to recall God’s promise: “He gives power to the weak, and to those who have no might He increases strength” (Isa. 40:29). Ask God for help. Depend on Him for the power to go on and the strength to make it through the valley.

Never doubt God! Never say that He has forsaken or forgotten. He will quicken again. Be steadfast; your labor is not in vain. God turns again, and comforts. And when He does, “give thanks to God”

God's promises cannot fail of their accomplishment. Patient waiters cannot be disappointed. Believing expectation shall be realized.

Let us “trust also in him”, through all the delays, in spite of the difficulties, in the face of all the denials, notwithstanding all the seeming’s, even when we cannot understand the way, and know not the issue; still “ trust also in him, and he will bring it to pass”.

The great thing is to suffer without being discouraged; It is in this state of the perfection of suffering that the Holy Spirit works many marvelous things in our souls.

Simply go on in faith and love, never doubting. God is watching, and He will bring good and beauty out of all our pain and tears

The tests of life are to make, not break us. Trouble may demolish a man’s business but build up his character. The blow at the outward man may be the greatest blessing to the inner man. If God, then, permits anything hard in our lives, be sure that the real peril, the real trouble, is what we shall lose if we flinch or rebel.

God gets His best soldiers out of the highlands of affliction.

Believe God's Word and power more than you believe your own feelings and experiences. Your Rock is Christ, and it is not the Rock which ebbs and flows, but your sea.

What if God could not manage to ripen your life without suffering? It is very easy for us to speak and theorize about faith; Oh, happy are we if the hurricanes that ripple life’s unquiet sea have the effect of making Jesus more precious. Better the storm with Christ then smooth waters without Him. – Many of us need no other argument than our own experiences to prove that suffering is indeed God’s testing room of faith. (tiny thought day : Streams in the Desert)

While God lives in an eternal new, yet He works out Hit purposes in time. A petition presented before God is like a seed dropped in the ground. Forces above and beyond or control must work upon it, till the true fruition of the answer in given.

And patience was willing to wait...

When we learn to wait for our Lord’s lead in everything, we shall know the strength that finds its climax in an even, steady walk. Many of us are lacking in the strength we so cover. But God gives full power for every task He appoints. Waiting, holding oneself true to His lead – this is the secret of strength. [Watch for God leading.]

My eyes is not in the density of the fog, but on the living God, who controls every circumstances of my life

The Lord imparts unto us primary strength of character which makes everything in life work with intensity and decision – “The Lord is my strength , to go on, to go up, to go down, to sit still; and the strength is continuous; reserves of power come to us which we cannot exhaust.

Are you in peril through some crushing, heavy trial? Seek the communication with Christ, and you will receive strength and be able to conquer – “I will strengthen thee” as mentioned in Isaiah…

What if trails or sufferings overtook you? God knows the level of suffering that each one of us can hold on... God will not suffer anyone to be tempted above what they are able to bear because God made us like that – God is faithful.

God speaks with tenderness; Fear thou not, for I am with thee: not only within call, but present with thee. Art thou weak? I will strengthen thee. - The purpose and object of God in these verses is to silence the fears of his people and encourage us to confidently trust him in the teethe of trouble and adversity.

This promising verse gave me strength when I faced darkest days in my life 3.5 years back; still holding this powerful verse to my heart ...

Faith rests on the naked Word of God & Trials are the food of faith. - When trials comes, we shall say : "I will wait and see what good God will do to me by it, assured He will do it". Thus we shall bear an honorable testimony before the world, and thus we shall strengthen the hands of others...

If there is a great trial in your life today, do not own it as a defeat, but continue, by faith, to claim the victory through God who is able to make you more than conqueror, and a glorious victory will soon be apparent. (Opportunities for us to exercise faith… Think!)

Not always OUT of our troublous times, and the struggles fierce and grim, but IN - deeper IN - to our sure test, the place of our peace, in Him. God will be with you in the trouble first all day and all all nights; then He will take you out of it - God uses trouble to teach His children precious lessons. (So don't ask 'Why didn't God help me sooner?')

Fear Not; Christian; Jesus is with thee. In all thy fiery trials, His presence is both thy comfort and safety. He will never leave own whom He has chosen for His own - A sure word of promise from God.

"Fear not, for I am with thee" is God's sure word of promise to His chosen ones in "the furnace of affliction"

I know by faith in whom I have believed, I know that God’s free gift I have received, I know that He will keep me to the end, My Savior, my Redeemer, and my Friend.

The meaning of trial is not only to test worthiness, but to increase it; as the oak tree is not only tested by the storms, but toughened by them.

Things may seem to be going all wrong, but God knows as well as we; and He will arise in the right moment if we are really trusting Him so fully as to let Him work in His own way and time.

Do not pray for easy lives! Pray to be stronger men. Pray for power equal to your tasks. Then the doing of your work shall be no miracle, but you shall be a miracle.

Our trials are great opportunities: Trust God in the dark, honor Him with unwavering confidence even in the midst of mysterious dispensation, and the recompense of such faith will be like the molting of the eagle's plumes, which was said to them a new lease of youth and strength...

When our friends encounter trials, We can help them if we’re near; Some may need a word of comfort, Others just a listening ear. (http://odb.org/2011/07/24/stay-close/)

Whatever His questions or His reticence, we may be absolutely sure of an un-perplexed and undismayed Savior.

Is not this a marvelous conception of God - being still and watching?

There is no limit to what God can do with a man, providing he will not touch the glory.

Christ sometimes delays His help that He may try our faith and quicken our prayers. Praying breath was never spent in vain...

The first Bible chapter that my Grandfather asked me to byheart...

There are many black dots and black spots in our lives, and we cannot understand 'why' they are there or 'why' God permitted them to come. But if we let God come into our lives, and adjust the dots in the proper way, and draw the lines He wants... He will make a glorious harmony.

God may not give us an easy journey to the promised land, but He will give us a safe one.

Is it raining, little flower?
Be glad of rain;
Too much sun would wither thee;
'Twill shine again.
The clouds are very black, 'tis true;
But just behind them shines the blue;
Art thou weary, tender heart?
Be glad of pain;
In sorrow sweetest virtues grow;
As flower in rain.
God watches, and thou wilt have Sun,
When clouds their perfect work have done

Think about this: The eagle that soars in the upper air does not worry itself as to how it is to cross river...

We cannot create the wind or set it in motion, but we can set our sails to catch it when it comes; likewise we must keep on praying and waiting upon the Lord, meantime doing those things which lie within our power to do...
