Has our heart and mind slipped away from your Savior? ... God is always ready to welcome us back. Because of His “lovingkindness” and “tender mercies,” it gives Him joy when we forsake our rebellious ways, return to Him, and ask for forgiveness

Like David the Psalmist, we should always be confident that, whatever trials we might face; we will be safe and we will be victorious. The Lord is our light.

God is with us always, even in the midst of difficult and fearful circumstances; like the Shepherd finds us when we wander and leads us back to the paths.

Let’s not think of ourselves as totally independent—because we’re not. The Lord sustains us day by day; He also meets our needs “according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus” (Phil. 4:19).

Pray until the thing you pray for has actually been granted, or until you have the assurance in your heart that it will be. (Streams in the Desert - 7 May)

We pray for submission, and God sends sufferings; for "we learn obedience by the things we suffer". - Streams in Desert - Romans 8:26

When we trust in God's goodness, we are fed by His faithfullness. (Quote: Julie Ackerman Link) - Reading portion: Isaiah 66:7-13
